Two killed in Polk County car crash

LAKE WALES (FOX 13) -

Two people were killed in a traffic crash that closed U.S. Highway 27 for several hours Monday afternoon.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. between U.S. Highway 98 and Warner Southern University.

There is no word yet what led to the crash, or the identities of the people involved.
