LAKELAND (FOX 13) -
Vice presidential
hopeful and Congressman Paul Ryan has canceled his campaign event scheduled for
Monday night in Lakeland.
"Out of
sensitivity for the millions of Americans in the path of Hurricane Sandy, we
are canceling tonight's events with Governor Romney in Wisconsin and
Congressman Ryan in Melbourne and Lakeland, Florida. We are also canceling all
events currently schedule for both Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan on
Tuesday," a statement from a campaign official read.
Ryan was supposed to
speak at the Sun n' Fun Air Museum around 7:30.
