There are some big changes coming to I-275 in Tampa.
The Department of Transportation is making improvements to a four-mile stretch of the interstate, from east of Memorial Highway to the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa.
Once it's done, there will be four lanes in each direction for the entire stretch. Improvements will also be made to the interchanges and the drainage system.
Construction is expected to cost more than $200 million, and it should take about four years to complete.
