It wasn't going so well in court for 25-year-old Adam Raicies -- so he decided to make a run for it.
Courthouse surveillance video shows him running through busy hallways as deputy after deputy after deputy chases him.
His thirst for freedom started Monday when he was in court, charged with making a false police report.
The judge sentenced Raicies to probation, but he had other plans.
"Freedom. I'm not being harassed by the police no more. I'm standing my ground," Raicies said.
During his escape attempt, Adam made it across the pedestrian bridge of the courthouse where he was eventually caught.
A Tampa Police officer was injured during the brief struggle.
Raicies says he's innocent of the charges and claims he's being targeted by police.
"He claims that I hit him when I ran…I came in no contact with him at all with my hands. They were pinned behind my back. I had no opportunity," Raicies said.
Two days later, Adam was back in court to face new charges, including battery of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. This time, he decided to stick around for the entire hearing.
