It won't be the late fall-like surge many are hoping for, but a cold front moving in should mean a touch of cooler weather over the next few days.
Still, expect lows to drop over the next few days, though
the forecast isn't all fine and dandy. We have higher rain chances Wednesday, Fox 13 meteorologist Dave Osterberg said.
Drier air is moving in from the northwest to the southeast, and high temperatures should drop over the next couple of days. They've remained around the mid-80s mark recently but could fall to as low as 81 on Wednesday. Lows should remain in the mid-to-upper 60s, Osterberg said.
"It's doing its best to bring the drier air in … It's not the large scale front that is going to bring temperatures down to late fall-like levels, but it will be nicer," he said.
After the front moves through, the temperatures will warm over the weekend, and the rain chances will drop.
