LAKELAND (FOX 13) -
Legoland is throwing a big party Monday to celebrate its first birthday.
The park is giving away tickets for half price, and park officials will also be giving away prizes throughout the day.
Tickets have to be bought online and are only good for Monday. A prize patrol will roam the park surprising visitors with gifts like free food, front-of-line passes, and even annual passes.
The park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Next month Legoland is scheduled to open a Star Wars themed section of its mini-land area.
