The child was injured just before 1 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of this Bradenton apartment complex.

Investigators in Manatee County are on the lookout for the driver of a vehicle that stuck a six-year-old child Friday afternoon in Bradenton.
The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. in the 1600 block of 55th Ave. Circle East.
Zykria Richard was transported to Manatee Memorial Hospital with a leg injury. Her condition is not known.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report a green-colored Sports Utility Vehicle was traveling east in the parking lot of the La Mirada Gardens complex when it failed to stop for the little girl and struck her.
The vehicle hit Zykria's left leg, knocking her to the ground. The driver exited his vehicle and carried the child to apartment #207. He did not give his name and fled the scene.
Witnesses say he is a tall black male with dreadlocks. Investigators did not find any skid marks at the scene and have no other information on the vehicle or the driver.
