Three people were arrested by Polk County deputies after a wild high speed chase Thursday afternoon that ended at an Orlando hotel.
Authorities received a call around 4 p.m., witnesses alerting them of a stolen Ford 500 in Seminole County. Deputies tried to pull them over, but 42-year-old Alan White and passengers Jennifer Rivera and David Lopez led authorities on a chase.
Deputies say they fled westbound on I-4 into Lakeland, where they entered a neighborhood and the passengers got out and ran. Deputies were able to track them down and make an arrest in the area of Sun Acres.
After they got out of the car, however, White took off again, leading authorities into Orange County on I-4. Stop spikes were able to do damage to the front of the car, with White somehow avoiding a crash during rush-hour traffic.
He eventually pulled into the Orlando Grand Hotel and ran up to the third floor, where he was arrested.
He now faces charges of fleeing police in a stolen vehicle. Rivera and Lopez are in the Polk County Jail.
