A temporary teacher at Seminole Heights Elementary was charged with child abuse after officers say she got upset with a 5-year-old autistic student.
Officers say 37-year-old Esraa Soliman got upset with the boy and grabbed him by the straps of his backpack, dragging him to his chair. The boy then threw a shoe at her, and that's when officers say Soliman took the shoe and shoved it in the child's face.
She has been released after posting a $2,000 bond. The charge is a felony.
