Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano is known for being animated. That's no secret. And he's always more than ready to speak his mind.
But according to a report, his son is now in trouble for something he said during a high school football game here in the Bay area.
Yahoo!, along with other area newspapers, is reporting that Joe Schiano, a linebacker at Berkeley Prep, has been suspended for the remainder of the regular season for cursing at a referee.
Schiano was handed a six-week suspension by the FHSAA.
According to the referee's report, which was obtained by the Tribune, Schiano stepped over the line and was ejected from the game after a cursing at the referee because of a late hit penalty.
Schiano appealed the decision, but it was denied.
