MIAMI (AP) - Brandon McCarthy pitched a three-hit complete-game shutout for his first win since being struck in the head by a line drive last season in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 1-0 victory over the Miami Marlins on Saturday night. Gerardo Parra led off the game with a home run for Arizona, which has won four in a row while dealing the Marlins a season-long 7-game losing streak.

BALTIMORE (AP) - Matt Joyce hit a go-ahead two-run double in a six-run ninth-inning rally, lifting the Tampa Bay Rays to a 10-6 victory over the Orioles on Saturday, ending Baltimore's franchise-record streak of 109 straight wins when leading after seven innings. Joyce also homered and finished 3 for 5 with five RBIs.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade made one high school senior's night when he showed up unexpectedly at her prom. Wade walked into a ballroom with roses and hugged Nicole Muxo on Friday night as her classmates from Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School cheered. Muxo posted a YouTube video in April asking Wade to the prom.

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) - Jimmie Johnson became the first 4-time winner of NASCAR's annual All-Star race Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. Johnson got a fast final pit stop from his Hendrick Motorsports crew to restart the race in second for the 10-lap sprint to the finish.
