Bradenton man charged with killing wife

A Manatee County man is charged with killing his wife.

Deputies responded to a shooting last night in the 2300 block of 45th Court W in Bradenton.  They found Claire Fleming, 67, dead inside the home.

Her husband, Thomas Fleming, was outside the house.  They arrested him and charged him with murder, but they haven't released a motive.

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports that Fleming, 68, is a former Bradenton police officer.
