PORT CHARLOTTE (FOX 13) -

Detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying four juveniles in connection with a fire at a Port Charlotte business.

The Kallis German Butcher Shop in the 2400 block of Tamiami Trail was badly damaged in the blaze that broke out just after 8 p.m. Saturday night.

According to a CCSO report flames were shooting from the roof by the time firefighters arrived on scene.

After extinguishing the blaze investigators obtained surveillance video that shows four young males on bicycles leaving the rear of the business shortly before the fire call came in.

Detectives want to see if the boys witnessed anything unusual in the area. The fire was deliberately set investigators say.

The State Fire Marshal was called to the scene to determine the exact cause of the arson.

The boys on bicycles are described as follows:

-      Juvenile #1 has brown hair and was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jean shorts and he was riding a 26'' bike.

-      Juvenile #2 was riding a 24" bike and was wearing a dark gray shirt and jean shorts.

-      Juvenile #3 was wearing a white muscle shirt and shorts. He was on a 20" bike.

-      Juvenile #4 has blonde hair and was last seen wearing dark shorts and a blue shirt. He was riding a BMX-style bicycle.

If you have any information about this case or the names of the boys, please contact the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office at 941-639-2101.
