HUDSON (FOX 13) -
A Pasco County deputy suffered minor injuries Thursday
morning when an SUV slammed into her vehicle.
It happened at the intersection of U.S. 19 and SR 52 in
Hudson. Investigators say the deputy was at a light when a silver SUV headed
northbound on 19 lost control and broadsided her.
The deputy suffered an injured wrist, and she was taken to a
nearby hospital, as was the driver of the SUV. The condition of the other
driver is unknown.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are still trying to figure
out if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
