Aimee Copeland attended a huge benefit in her honor in Villa Rica on Saturday.
Copeland nearly died and had to have her hands and feet amputated after her body was ravaged by flesh-eating bacteria earlier this year. The 24-year-old woman took the stage to thank her supporters during the event.
The 63-mile benefit motorcycle ride drew a couple thousand bikers. They ended up at Mills Amphitheater for a music festival where Aimee addressed her supporters.
Organizers hosted the benefit to raise money to pay for medical expenses.
