Man injured in shooting outside Tampa adult entertainment club
Anderson, 22, was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
TAMPA (FOX 13) -
A 22-year-old Tampa man was injured early Saturday morning in a shooting outside of an adult entertainment establishment.
Rashaud M. Anderson was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
According to a Tampa Police Department report officers were dispatched to the Hollywood Nites club at 3003 N. Howard Ave. just before 3 a.m. in response to a shots fired call.
Witnesses reported seeing three black males fire into a black Cadillac Escalade in the parking lot of the business. The vehicle fled but returned minutes later when it was discovered that Anderson had been hit by gunfire.
Two other occupants of the Escalade were not hurt. Anderson was sitting in the front of the vehicle when it was hit investigators say.
No description of the suspects is available at this time as the investigation continues.
The injured man has an extensive criminal record in Hillsborough County and was already on probation at the time of the shooting.
