NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) -
A severely malnourished and neglected dog is in need of
help. "Gwendolyn" was found in Pasco County in pretty bad shape. She
has a severe upper respiratory infection, painful swollen paws, and intestinal
parasites among other troubles.
She was going to be put down by animal
services, but a non-profit rescue group "Rugaz Rescue" took her in.
They say despite her pain and extreme
neglect, Gwendolyn is a sweet, gentle dog with an incredible spirit, and they
hope to find her a home.
"She is one of the worst starvation cases I've seen, but Gwendolyn just
has an incredible spirit," said Rugaz Founder & Director Devilyn
Saunders.
