Authorities in Pasco County have released the name of the third suspect wanted in connection with the beating of two men Saturday morning in New Port Richey.
Vanessa Marie Musson is no stranger to law enforcement in the area.
The 25-year-old Hudson woman has an extensive arrest record and has served one stint in the state prison system. Most of Musson's prior arrests are drug-related.
According to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report Musson assisted Bobbie Jo Curtis and her teenage son in robbing and assaulting a 44-year-old Moon Lake man. The identity of the victim has not been released.
He is listed in critical condition at a local hospital. A 69-year-old neighbor and friend of the victim was also injured when he attempted to investigate. One of the suspects struck him in the head with a baseball bat.
Once she is apprehended Musson will be facing a variety of charges including attempted murder, aggravated battery, grand theft auto and grand theft of a firearm.
Investigators believe she is in possession of several firearms removed from the victim's home during the commission of that crime. If you see Musson, who has multiple tattoos on her back, ankles and chest, do not approach her, contact the authorities immediately.
She is considered armed and dangerous.
Musson may be driving the victim's 2000 white Ford Econoline Van. The vehicle has a roof/ladder rack and the Florida tag is – 366 TQH.
