Pinellas Park bank hit by robber with white mask, gloves

PINELLAS PARK (FOX 13) -

Detectives with the Pinellas Park Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

An unidentified white male struck at the Fifth-Third Bank in the 7700 block of 66th St. just before 1 p.m. Saturday.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to Sgt. Brian Unmisig the suspect was wearing a white mask and gloves. He entered the bank at 12:52 p.m. and brandished a handgun.

He is described as having a medium build. Investigators say he fled in an unknown direction. Officers with the Pinellas Park PD spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence.

No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the commission of this crime.
