Ann Romney, wife of presidential candidate Mitt Romney, appeared in Largo Wednesday afternoon, seeking to shore up support among women for her husband.
She spent much of her time promoting Mitt Romney's candidacy by defending his character. She spoke of him as a husband, father, grandfather and role model for five children.
Romney also addressed the deadly attacks in Libya, focusing on the families who lost loved ones. She then spoke of other families with loved ones serving overseas in the military and in diplomatic posts.
