During one of our newscasts, you may have seen our Polk County reporter Ken Suarez take a few missteps while dancing to promote an upcoming event.
It's called "Stepping Out for Education." The competition raises money for Polk County schools. It teams up a member of the community with a professional dancer from the studio, Lakeland Ballroom.
The non-pros practice, worry about forgetting what they have practiced, then go for it on the big night.
This year, Stepping Out for Education will be held at the Lakeland Center on Friday, September 21. It starts at 6.
