A 19-year-old Bay area man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon following an altercation at a home in Brandon.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at 1409 Scotch Pine Dr. Daniel S. Oliver of Brandon died at the scene.
According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report the deceased and another man began arguing inside of the residence. The source of the disagreement is not known.
The argument spilled outside and quickly turned violent when one of the men pulled out a weapon and fired.
The other person involved in the deadly scuffle suffered minor injuries and is being questioned by HCSO detectives.
So far no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
