BRADENTON (FOX 13) -

A 23-year-old homeless man is facing a variety of charges after he allegedly pointed a gun at two people following an argument over a stolen cell phone.

Ryan Neil Parker was booked into the Manatee County Jail where he is being held without bond.

According to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report Bruce Alvin and Morgan Ezzell went to a home in the 4100 block of 15th Ave. West just after 2 a.m. Saturday to talk to the suspect about the phone.

The discussion between Alvin, 24, Ezzell, 19, and Parker quickly escalated. Witnesses say Parked brandished a firearm and threatened the victims.

Alvin and Ezzell left the residence and called for help. When deputies arrived they determined the home was in foreclosure and Parker did not have permission to be inside.

Before deputies arrived the suspect fled on foot. A perimeter was established and a MCSO K-9 unit caught up with Parker who was apprehended.

Before being transported to the jail Parker was taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment of puncture wounds. He is charged with one count of burglary to a dwelling and one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

The weapon was recovered from the foreclosed home.

Additional charges against Parker are pending.
