BRADENTON (FOX 13) -

A Bradenton burglary suspect went back to the scene of his original crime Friday where he was arrested thanks to some of the victim's alert neighbors.

Several witnesses reported seeing a man matching Ian Beck's description near Mary Turner's home when it was burglarized on August 27th.

Manatee County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the scene but were unable to locate a suspect.

According to a MCSO report several peopled called 9-1-1 when seeing the same man near Turner's house again Friday afternoon.

Deputies responded just in time to catch Beck, 22,  riding a bicycle through a wooded area near his residence, not far from Turner's home in the 6900 Block of 9th Ave. Dr. Northwest.

Beck was charged with one count of burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Manatee County Jail where he is being held without bond due to a probation violation.

This is not the suspect's first brush with law enforcement in Manatee County. Beck's prior arrests include burglary and grand theft charges.
