TAMPA (FOX 13) -
Though Tropical Storm Isaac is still hundreds of miles away, some Bay area school districts are playing it safe and canceling school for Monday, as bad weather will move in late Sunday night and Monday.
Right now, the following counties have canceled school for Monday:
- DeSoto
- Hardee
- Hernando
- Highlands
- Hillsborough
- Manatee
- Pasco
- Pinellas
- Polk
- Sarasota
Classes at the University of Tampa were scheduled to resume as normal.
All University of South Florida campuses are closed Monday. Clinics are open. HCC is closed Monday.
Stetson University College of Law will be closed Monday.
