TAMPA (FOX 13) -
A tanker truck
carrying liquid asphalt overturned in Tampa
on Tuesday morning, causing delays at Adamo and 50th Street.
The accident caused
a minor spill, and crews were called to the scene to clean it up. No other vehicles
were involved. Investigators say the driver tried to run northbound on 50th Street
and the asphalt shifted, causing the truck to roll on its right side.
Northbound 50th Street
was closed for several hours. The driver was cited for careless driving.
