CLEARWATER (FOX 13) -

A 32-year-old Clearwater man was badly injured Saturday evening after he put his right arm through the window of his mobile home.

Joseph Cashman suffered significant blood loss and was transported to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. His injury does not appear to be life threatening.

According to a City of Clearwater report Cashman had been drinking and smoking ‘Spice,' with a friend just prior to the incident.

Investigators say just before 6 p.m. he became agitated and started breaking items and throwing things around the residence. His home is located in the Capri Mobile Home Park in the 24000 block of US Highway 19 North.

Cashman punched the window and cut his arm on a shard of glass. Emergency medical service personnel were dispatched to the scene and treated him prior to transport.

No charges have been filed.
