A 57-year-old Michigan man was released from the Hillsborough County Jail Saturday afternoon after he posted a bond of $50,000 on a video voyeurism charge.
Victor Aaron Lemm was arrested by Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies on Friday.
Saturday morning he made his first appearance before a judge who granted the suspect bond. Even though he was released Lemm can't leave town, can't access the Internet and is not allowed to have any contact with children.
According to a HCSO report the victim in the case is a 12-year-old boy. Investigators say the alleged crime occurred in the restroom of the Macy's Department store in the Brandon Town Center just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
Lemm's arrest report states he got into a stall next to the victim's and reached under the partition, cell phone in hand, and aimed it in the direction of the child.
The victim immediately fled the restroom and notified his guardian as to what had happened. Macy employees quickly identified Lemm as the man who committed the act and followed him as he attempted to leave the retail development.
A description and a partial tag were given to authorities and it was soon discovered that Lemm was a resident of Michigan and was driving a vehicle from a nearby Dollar Rental car location.
The suspect was tracked to the Motel 6 in the 9900 block of Adamo Dr. in Brandon. A court authorized search of Lemm's room was conducted.
After he was read his Miranda Rights Lemm allegedly admitted to sticking his cell phone under the boy's stall at Macy's.
Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
