The glitz and glamour of the RNC is not just inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Republican National Convention banners are now draped outside the building too.
They replaced the bigger than life pictures of Tampa Bay Lightning players and concert celebrities.
"Fourteen days from now, at this hour, people will be loading in and there will be people there preparing for the first session to start," Miller said.
There's also a covered, air-conditioned walkway that stretches more than 3,200 feet from the Forum to the Tampa Convention Center.
It will help guide delegates and visitors to the Forum, as well as provide a temporary escape from the Florida heat, explains Director of Operations Ryan Price.
"We realized that the weather, feeling the afternoon rain storms, we need to provide an option between the two buildings, and to that we are putting up the walkway. This will allow people to get back and forth relatively comfortably," Price explained.
Overall, RNC officials say there will be 55,000 square feet of flooring and 100,000 square feet of tenting throughout the Forum.
They are dressing up the Tampa Convention Center, too. A huge RNC banner is going up to welcome visitors. And nearby at the Harbour Island Bridge, light fixtures are being replaced as well.
Miller say all this work and preparation will hopefully pay off in votes.
"Our success is measured with the bump we receive in the polls for our ticket, and we expect it to be significant, "Miller said.
