A search for a stolen All-Terrain Vehicle led deputies to a Brooksville residence containing a large variety of illegal narcotics this week.
The owner of the property, 49-year-old Gwen Lynn Cannon, is now facing a variety of charges including cultivation of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.
According to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office report deputies found the ATV and a whole lot more. On Wednesday deputies were dispatched to 17306 Ponce De Leon Blvd. after receiving a tip the missing vehicle was there.
Deputies also found several cannabis plants and a stolen mower deck. Due to the size of the property investigators secured the location and a search warrant was obtained.
On the grounds deputies discovered a recreational vehicle that had been converted into a grow house. Also found on the property were numerous items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Two weapons and a significant amount of drug paraphernalia were also confiscated from the property.
Cannon was booked into the Hernando County Jail where she is being held on a bond of $45,000. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation into the stolen ATV continues.
