More than a
million General Electric dishwashers are being recalled because they could
spark a fire.
They are recalling GE, GE Adora, GE Eterna,
GE Profile and Hotpoint dishwashers.
The machines' heating elements can fail
and cause fires.
GE has gotten seven reports of fires
so far, three of them did extensive damage.
Fortunately, no one has been hurt.
They were sold nationwide between March
of 2006 and August of 2009.
Stop using the dishwashers and
disconnect the electric supply.
