LIVE OAK (FOX 13) -

Authorities in Suwanee County are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a woman who was found beaten and unconscious on the side of a road last month.

‘Jane Doe' suffered a blunt force head injury and was left for dead investigators say.

She has been in a medically induced coma since her battered body was discovered on July 16th just off Highway 90 in Live Oak.

The woman was not carrying any identification.

According to a Suwanee County Sheriff's Office report the victim is between 20 and 35 years of age. She stands 5'5'' tall, weighs approximately 130 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Her fingerprints were processed but investigators were unable to identify her by that means. The woman was wearing cutoff blue jean shorts, a Grateful Dead t-shirt and no shoes when she was found.

Detectives say she has several distinctive tattoos. A wolf tattoo is on her upper left arm; an ‘Insane Clown Posse' logo appears inside her left ankle and the name ‘David' is tattooed on her left breast.

The Suwanee County Sheriff's Office has received over 200 tips from as far away as Alaska to date. If you have any information on ‘Jane Doe,' please contact Sgt. Jeff Cameron with SCSO at 386-364-3412.
