Early voting got underway for most of Florida's 67 counties on Saturday morning.
Five counties, including Hillsborough, began their early voting periods on Monday.
Three precincts in Pinellas County opened the doors at 7 a.m. Saturday. Voters looking to cast their ballots prior to the August 14th primary can do so through August 11th.
The precincts are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
A Florida law changed last year now allows 10 days for early voting.
"We want to emphasize to Pinellas voters that our early voting dates are different than those for voters in Hillsborough County," said Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark said. "The hours will also vary from county to county throughout the state, as they did in the past."
If you don't wish to take part in early voting all eligible voters may vote by mail or by casting their ballots on August 14th and their local precinct.
