A large mulch fire is going to leave smoke in the air for parts of Polk County over the next couple of days.
The fire is burning along Lasso Lane and started when lightning struck a huge pile of mulch, investigators say.
The view from SkyFOX showed lots of smoke in the area. The good thing is there are no buildings nearby and no one has been injured.
But a shift in winds is causing the smoke to drift across the Polk Parkway.
Firefighters from several agencies have been pouring water on the mulch pile to try and minimize the smoke, but they say they can't do much more than that.
