TAMPA (FOX 13) -

A 43-year-old man was arrested Saturday by Tampa Police on sexual abuse charges.

The alleged victims in the case are young boys who live in his apartment complex.

Luis Torres is being held without bond at the Hillsborough County Jail. He is facing two counts of sexual battery, two counts of lewd molestation and one count of soliciting sex from a minor.

According to a Tampa Police Department arrest report Torres was taken into custody just after midnight and booked into the jail at 1:30 a.m.

Detectives began looking into allegations made against the suspect on July 23. The alleged crimes occurred at the Camden Bayside apartment complex on South Westshore Blvd. in Tampa.

That's where police arrested Torres.

This is not the suspect's first brush with law enforcement. In 1999 Torres was arrested by officers with the Florida Department of Law enforcement on similar charges – sexual battery/lewd and lascivious molestation.

The charges were eventually dropped.
