The former Jabil Circuit executive convicted of killing two people may be put to death.
On Friday, a different judge will decide if Patrick Evans – convicted of killing his wife and a male friend after finding them together in her Gulfport condo – will get the death penalty.
A jury convicted Evans and recommended it. Evans recently was ordered to pay the family of one of the victims $54 million.
During his trial, Evans took the stand in his defense.
