Agents search puppeteer's home for 2nd time

Posted: Updated:

Investigators are executing a second search warrant at the home of a puppeteer accused of possessing child porn.

The search is taking place at the home of 57-year-old Ronald William Brown in Largo.

Brown was arrested last week after authorities said he possessed gruesome images of child porn, and was conspiring to kidnap a child.

Brown had access to hundreds of children through his business as a traveling puppeteer. He reportedly worked at schools, birthday parties, malls and even church groups.

Federal agents are searching the home for evidence to support the allegations that Brown conspired to kidnap, rape, kill and then eat a child.

The case came to light during a child pornography investigation that started in Kansas. Authorities say they found an online chat between Brown and a man there.

According to investigators, Brown fantasized about strangling, dismembering and then cannibalizing his young victims, describing it all in graphic detail.

Brown sat before a judge for a preliminary examination on Tuesday.

Investigators say Thursday night's search is taking place to leave no stone unturned.

The arrest is for conspiring to commit these heinous crimes, but there is no evidence that it was any thing more than a plot.
