TAMPA (FOX 13) -
Soon the Tampa Bay Times Forum
will be the center of the political universe when it hosts the RNC, but it's
already making a name for itself.
The Forum was named the second
best venue in the U.S.
and the 15th best worldwide by Pollstar magazine.
The mid-year rankings are based
on many things, including ticket sales from concerts, events and family shows.
The Forum underwent a $45 million renovation project this year.
Bruce Springsteen,
Coldplay, and the college hockey's national championship are just a few acts
that have already called the venue home this year.
Pollstar is the only trade publication
covering the worldwide concert industry.
