TAMPA (FOX 13) -
A 24-year-old man
was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a dirt bike accident, Tampa police said.
The crash happened
on Habana Avenue
between Woodlawn Avenue
and Ohio Avenue.
According to
police, the man was trying to pass northbound on Habana and lost control of the
bike, hitting the curb. He was thrown off the bike and suffered critical
injuries, police said.
The man, who has
not been identified, was taken to St. Joseph's hospital.
The both lanes of Habana were closed in the area.
