Bradenton man shot outside nightclub

Authorities in Manatee County are asking for the public's assistance in locating one or more shooting suspects.

The incident occurred just before 1 AM Saturday at the Oneco Rose Lounge located at 5108 15^th St. East in Bradenton.

According to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report deputies were dispatched to the establishment in response to a disturbance call.

When they arrived approximately 20 people were gathered in the parking lot but they quickly went back inside the lounge when they saw the MCSO cruisers.

One man, Javier Silva of Bradenton, approached a deputy to show him he had been hit by gunfire. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the forearm.

He was transported to Blake Medical Center for treatment and is expected to survive the report states.

Witnesses say the gunfire came from a white Chevrolet Impala. At least four Hispanic males were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Detectives gathered evidence from the scene and interviewed witnesses for a couple hours after the incident. No other suspect description is available at this time.
