Two arrested after shots fired during drug bust

Bradenton undercover officers were involved in a shooting during a drug bust Thursday.

Detectives were attempting to arrest several people involved in an illegal drug buy in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart on Cortez Road.

One of the suspects tried to flee in a car, and hit an undercover officer.

He then sped towards another officer who fired at him.

The man got way on foot.

Two other suspects are in custody.
