TEMPLE TERRACE (FOX 13) -
Temple Terrace Police confirm that a falling bullet hit a
woman watching fireworks Wednesday night.
It happened at the Temple Terrace Country Club.
Witnesses say it happened toward the end of the fireworks
show. They say they saw several police cars and an ambulance at the scene, and
that the woman's leg was covered in blood.
She was taken to the hospital; police said Thursday that the
bullet is lodged in the woman's leg.
This is at least the second reported incident of a bullet
falling from the sky and injuring someone during fireworks celebrations
