BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) -
A wrong-way crash in Brooksville sent four people to the
hospital Wednesday morning.
It happened on State Road 50 near Highpoint Boulevard.
According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, an elderly
couple driving east in the westbound lane slammed head-on into a pickup truck.
The couple and the two passengers in the pickup were
seriously injured. They were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
Charges are pending in the crash investigation.
