Florida Highway Patrol troopers have opened the southbound lanes of the Suncoast Parkway in northern Hernando County.
The roadway was closed in that stretch, between State Road 50 and U.S. 98, because of floodwaters left behind by Tropical Storm Debby.
On Wednesday morning, the northbound lanes remain closed in that area.
