Polk County deputies have arrested four people in connection with the robbing of a 68-year-old woman not once, but three times.
On two of those attacks, Donna Stark was on her way to church of all places, deputies said.
The most recent attack happened Sunday when someone wearing a mask met her at her back door, shoved her back into the house and hit her over the head with a gun, according to the sheriff's office.
The man then took off with her money. Police arrested Edison Gomez, 36, for the attacks and robberies.
They also charged Larry Edwards, 61, as an accomplice. He was the one who would drive Gomez to Stark's home for the robbery.
Lloyd Gainey, 51, is charged with forgery for cashing a money order stolen from Stark, while Judith Fuentes, Gomez's girlfriend, was arrested after deputies said she lied to police about his location.
