Authorities seek information on bank robbery suspect

CLEARWATER (FOX 13) -

Authorities in Pinellas County are asking for the public's assistance in tracking down an armed bank robber.

This suspect has struck three times at three different PNC locations since May 26th.

The unidentified male is described as Caucasian between the ages of 20 and 35. He stands approximately 5'9'' tall and has a medium build.

According to a Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County report the suspect has brandished a silver handgun and demanded cash in all three crimes.

The first incident occurred on May 26th at the PNC Bank at 2498 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd. On June 8th investigators say he struck again at the PNC Bank location in the 2600 block of Roosevelt Blvd. and again on June 19th at the Countryside PNC Bank.

In one of the cases the suspect was seen fleeing in a red, four-door vehicle similar to a Ford Focus. If you have any information about the suspect or any of the robberies contact Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County at 800-873-8477.

In addition to the Crime Stoppers reward, PNC Bank is offering a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the man responsible.
