Police are trying to find two suspects who carried out an armed robbery at a Walgreens in St. Petersburg.
It happened at the store at 5767 38th Avenue North around 3:18 a.m. Tuesday, and surveillance video captured the event.
Two black male suspects in their 20's enter the store with T-shirts wrapped around their head and face. The creep into the store, approach three employees, and demand they open up the cash registers.
After stealing the money from the cash registers, they leave the store and head east. K-9 units were able to track the men for awhile, but eventually lost the scent, police said.
The first suspect, who had a gray shirt over his head, was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and black shorts. The second, who had a white shirt over his head, was wearing black shorts with a blue strip.
If you have any information on these suspects, contact St. Petersburg police at (727) 893-7780 or the confidential tip line at (727) 892-5000.
