Must have the following in order to apply:

• Must have Associates Degree.
• Must have five years of network engineering including the design, configuration and maintenance of large corporate or carrier class networks.
• Must have experience with Juniper JUNOS and/or SCREEN/OS.
• Must have intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, excel spreadsheet, graphics.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Two (2) or more years experience with Juniper networking equipment such as Routing, Switching and firewall products and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in computer networking and/or telecommunications.
• Must have knowledge of networking products to include switches, routers, firewalls and the use of TCP/IP protocols knowledge of IP protocols and technologies.
• Advanced certifications an added plus Juniper (JNCIP-M, JNCIS-M, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIS-JUNOS, JNCIA-FWV, JNCIA-EX, JNCIA-WX), Cisco (CCNA, CCDP/NP) Brocade, Extreme and HP required.
• Must have intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, Word processing, Excel spreadsheet, graphics and the ability to learn various internal proprietary software packages, including but not limited to SMART, Visio and/or other new or existing COTS software.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of advanced protocols such as BGP, MPLS, SIP/H.323, MGCP and SCCP a plus.

Required Screenings: Drug Testing / Screening, Background and Reference Checks.

Job Description:
Senior Juniper Engineer provides network design, consulting services and post sales technical support for Juniper network and communications products sold or serviced by company. These services include design, installation, configuration, implementation, trouble shooting, migration, and evaluation of existing networks for company's customers. Working in a consulting capacity, the position is responsible paid professional services as well as warranty support as directed by the project manager or customer's designated technical lead. This role is highly technical in nature and requires the individual to have customer interface skills, including both written and verbal abilities. Consulting engagements may vary from short-term specific tasks to longer term general or project based assignments.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Providing pre-sales support and network design services including interfacing with potential customers as necessary (10%)
Providing post-sales support and consulting services to customers, inclusive of recommendations, presentations, demonstrations, implementation and ongoing support services (80%)
Enhancing technical skills, assisting other consultants, acquiring additional certifications (10%)

Pay: $70,000 - $115,000 per year.

Hours: Day Shift.
