You're going to start seeing more of these elephants around town in Tampa. The very first one went up at Tampa Bay & Company's visitor center.
The elephants are part of an art project to welcome the Republican National Convention to town. And they're painted with a little bit of everything on them:
"The minarets, the pirate ship, roller coasters, canoeing, Bayshore; they can take a look at all the things that our area represents," offered Krista Soroka of Tampa Bay & Company.
Artist Carl Cowden made the elephant seen here.
Dozens of elephants will start popping up in the next few weeks.
Besides professional artists, some students and local businesses will be painting them too.
