SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Trayvon Martin's family attended a town hall meeting Tuesday night at the Calvary Temple of Praise Church in Sanford that was organized by the NAACP's Seminole County Chapter.
"Although I said I would never come back here again because my son was shot and killed here, God brought me right back here," said Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin's mother.
There, NAACP's Chapter President Turner Clayton reacted to George Zimmerman's wife, Shellie's arrest Tuesday afternoon. "I felt that was coming knowing the judge was highly upset with the issues in the courtroom,'" said Clayton. "It made me feel like I knew he was going to take a stance on it."
More than a hundred Sanford citizens turned out to the meeting.
Sanford's City Manager, Norton Bonaparte and Interim Police Chief Richard Myers also attended and briefly addressed the crowd.
